Privacy and advertising

Local PDF processing

The PDF workspace reads the file you choose into browser memory and creates a downloadable print copy. BackAlign does not send the PDF to a server, fetch an image from it, save it in localStorage or require an account. Clearing the PDF or leaving the page removes the tool’s active reference; this is not a secure-erasure promise for browser or operating-system memory. Your original and downloaded files remain wherever you saved them.

Settings and reports

Settings and movement reports are downloaded only when you request them. They contain page geometry, selected page positions and offsets, not embedded PDF artwork. They may still reveal information about your print job; review them before sharing.

Website requests

Loading pages, scripts, the self-hosted font and the PDF library makes ordinary requests to the hosting provider. The provider can receive technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested URL. No analytics tracker is installed by this release. External documentation and email providers have their own policies.

Advertising

Advertising is currently disabled. This release sends no advertising requests. AdSense verification metadata, if later configured, is not an approval or a payment claim. Advertising is kept out of the PDF workspace. Before activating personalized advertising for visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the operator must configure an appropriate Google-certified consent platform. An ordinary custom cookie banner is not represented as certified.

How Google uses information from sites using its services. The policy will be reviewed before advertising or analytics changes.

Contact messages

If you send an email, the mailbox provider processes your email address and message, and the operator can read them to respond. Do not include sensitive documents. The site does not operate a PDF upload endpoint or collect email addresses through a form.
