Terms and scope

BackAlign is provided as a free print-preparation utility. Use only documents you have permission to process. You remain responsible for source content and the decision to print or publish it.

Check the result

Digital checks do not establish accurate physical printing. Keep the original file, inspect the new print copy and test one front/back pair using the intended device and paper. Results depend on the entered measurements, source PDF and printer behavior. A translation does not fix rotation, scale, mechanical variation or a wrong flip setting.

Supported scope

The tool accepts only the file types and page structures described in the workspace. The generated PDF is for printing and does not replace a signed, interactive, accessible or archival original. This free release makes no promise of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a specific production job.

Licenses

Generated calibration sheets are original BackAlign material and may be printed and shared for personal or commercial print testing. There is no fee for using the tool on documents you are authorized to process. Third-party libraries retain their own licenses: pdf-lib 1.17.1 under MIT, and Manrope under the SIL Open Font License. Their license files are included with the site assets.
